At Signature Thai Massage and Wellness, our goal is to provide every client with a relaxing, professional, and therapeutic experience. To ensure the best care for all clients, please review the following policies before scheduling your appointment. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these policies.

By Appointment Only

We operate by appointment only and do not accept walk-in appointments. Appointments can be scheduled conveniently through our online booking system.

Card on File Policy

A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve all appointments. Your card is securely stored through our booking system and will not be charged at the time of booking unless a deposit is required for a specific service or promotion. Your card may be charged only in the following situations:

  • Cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with our Cancellation Policy

  • Late cancellation fees

  • Payment for services if you choose to use the card on file

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Clients who do not arrive for their scheduled appointment without prior notice ("No-Show") may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service fee. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment for future appointments or may result in the inability to schedule future appointments.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in. Clients arriving late may receive a shortened session to avoid delaying the next scheduled appointment. The full service fee will still apply regardless of the shortened treatment time.If you are significantly late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a late cancellation.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the completion of your appointment. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and other approved payment methods available through our booking system. Returned payments or disputed charges may result in additional fees and suspension of future booking privileges.

Sales Tax

Massage therapy services may be subject to applicable Ohio sales tax. Services prescribed by a licensed physician or chiropractor may qualify for a tax exemption under Ohio law. If you believe your massage qualifies for this exemption, please provide a copy of the written prescription before your appointment. We are unable to remove sales tax without appropriate documentation.

Health Information

Please provide accurate and complete health information before each appointment.

Inform your therapist of any:

  • Recent injuries

  • Surgeries

  • Pregnancy

  • Medical conditions

  • Allergies

  • Medications

  • Changes in your health

Your safety is our highest priority.

Failure to disclose important medical information may limit or prevent treatment.

Illness Policy

If you are experiencing any contagious illness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, or other symptoms that may place others at risk, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. We appreciate your consideration in helping maintain a healthy environment for everyone.

Massage is Therapeutic Only

Massage therapy provided at Signature Thai Massage and Wellness is intended solely for relaxation, stress reduction, pain management, and overall wellness. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Our therapists do not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, or perform medical procedures.

Professional Boundaries & Zero-Tolerance Policy

Signature Thai Massage and Wellness maintains the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the massage session.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sexual comments

  • Sexual jokes

  • Inappropriate conversations

  • Sexual requests

  • Inappropriate touching

  • Lewd gestures

  • Indecent exposure

  • Harassment

  • Threatening behavior

  • Any conduct that causes discomfort or compromises a safe, professional environment

Clients will be responsible for payment of the full scheduled session if treatment is terminated due to inappropriate behavior.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone whose behavior is disrespectful, abusive, or unsafe.

No Solicitation

Signature Thai Massage and Wellness has a zero-tolerance policy for solicitation of any kind. Any request for sexual services, inappropriate favors, illegal activities, or any behavior inconsistent with professional massage therapy will not be tolerated. Such behavior will result in:

  • Immediate termination of the session

  • Full payment for the scheduled appointment

  • Permanent refusal of future services

  • Notification of law enforcement if appropriate

Our practice is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both clients and staff.

Children & Guests

To maintain a peaceful environment for all clients, we ask that only individuals receiving services enter the treatment room unless prior arrangements have been made. Children must be supervised at all times.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. They must be presented at the time of service.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Treatment is not medically appropriate

  • Client safety may be compromised

  • Professional boundaries are violated

  • Policies are not respected

  • The therapist believes massage is not in the client's best interest

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your personal and health information is kept confidential and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional ethical standards. Information will never be shared without your consent except as required by law.
